Our Story
Hi! I’m Raina and this is my husband, Blue. Our love for Jesus guides everything we do, and we’re so grateful to share most of our business adventures with our two wonderful children by our side.
Belightful Magnets became its own business in early November of 2025. The magnet making addition to our first business, Belightful Maui, was 100% from the Lord. As much as I wish I could explain in detail how I know that, I can’t quite put it into words - it’s something that coincides with my closeness to Him. All I knew was that it was the next thing - and the urgency that came with it felt undeniably real. It didn’t make sense; it was nothing like what we were already doing. It intertwined so naturally with my passion for taking pictures and capturing memories that I couldn’t help but trust that the Lord had a plan. My husband, who’s always been one of my biggest supporters, trusted too. Together, we got what we needed to make it happen.
When I first introduced custom photo magnets, it was awkward and painfully slow. It seemed like no one cared or shared the same excitement I felt, but I kept going, and eventually it became part of our market setup. For months, I refined my words, trying to help people understand what I was offering and slowly, curiosity began to grow.
On a day I least expected - the kind of day the Lord loves to surprise us with - a woman approached me, thrilled about my custom photo magnets. She immediately hired me to create them for her corporate dinner just a few nights later. What an experience that was! I learned so much, in such a short time and it became clear that this is what the Lord has been preparing me for. He has been aligning and orchestrating our lives in ways that led us right here. It’s still unfolding, but the clarity and assurance He’s given through something as simple as a magnet-making business is incredible. We are so thankful to be moving in this new direction and look forward to the journey ahead.
